17th Annual Carrollian Gala

On Saturday, April 25, Bishop Carroll Catholic High School will hold its seventeenth annual Carrollian Gala.  At the fundraising event, several individuals will be presented with honors for their contributions to the school community and the world at large.

The Bishop Carroll Cornerstone Award will be given to those who have made a lasting impact on the school community.  This year’s awards will be presented to the Monsignor Bernard Przybocki, Mr. Dan Gueguen , and Ms. Michele Kirk.  Monsignor Przybocki is being recognized for his years of service in the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese, especially his 8 years on faculty and several years as a pastor to the students of Bishop Carroll.  Mr. Gueguen, a 1971 Bishop Carroll graduate, has coached football and basketball at the school and he and his wife have invested in Catholic education by choosing to have all of their children attend the school.  Ms. Kirk recently retired from Bishop Carroll after spending nearly 40 years on staff as a science teacher and has been invaluable to the school in other roles as well.

Two individuals will be bestowed with the Distinguished Alumni Award.  The recipients all used the foundations they received at Bishop Carroll and have made the world a better place.  The winners include:
