Chapel Project Progress

The planned renovations to our beloved chapel are on schedule!  To date, we have received close to 75% of our goal to complete necessary upgrades to the sacred space, including new carpet, updated stained glass windows, HVAC, painting, and furniture.  Lighting upgrades have already been completed, as have some other minor repairs.  Nearly 40 individuals and families have made donations so far, but we are not yet finished!

Help us reach our goal by sending a donation in to the school.  The plan is to have the chapel renovated before the end of the current school year, and we are so very close!  The chapel is the heart of our school, and applying loving, tender care to the physical space, is vital.  The chapel is used daily by students and staff, and the presence of Jesus Christ in our school is something that should not be taken for granted.

During the Eucharistic Miracles display night, a visitor to the school commented, “Look at this!  How wonderful to have a chapel within the school!  Jesus is truly present!”  The views of that visitor ring true.  We are blessed to have this opportunity, and seek to make improvements fitting the home of our Lord.

The chapel will retain the same aesthetics that alumni for over 60 years remember fondly, but the space is showing its age.

Donations in any amount are being accepted toward the renovations.  Donations over $1,000 will receive name recognition.  Please read the information below on how to make a donation toward the cause.

Additionally, we are in the process of dedicating the chapel to Blessed Carlo Acutis and obtaining a first class relic of him.

Naming our chapel for this great young man will help lead our students in their faith and bring them closer to God.  Blessed Carlo is a “Saint in waiting” that our students can relate to and admire.

Blessed Carlo Acutis, pray for us!
