I teach at Bishop Carroll because … My wife is Catholic and I was Baptist during most of our 41 years of marriage. I started teaching at BC nine years ago and that was because my wife urged me to start by filling in for half a year at Bishop McCort. I enjoyed working with Sister Donna Marie Leiden there and she referred me to Bishop Carroll. At Bishop Carroll, I started the process of becoming Catholic and that experience has been wonderful. During one of our masses, a student was singing and I was greatly influenced by her song. That was the moment I decided to become Catholic.

The most wonderful thing is watching our students grow and thrive in their faith. It is amazing how much they mature during their four-year journey. The most heartwarming is that we have the opportunity to practice our faith openly.
