The Bishop Carroll Catholic High School Girls' Volleyball team earned the championship of the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference for the 2011 season. Coach Joe Skura also earned the LHAC Coach of the Year award. The Lady Huskies will host the quarterfinal round of playoffs and face the winner of the Bishop McCort-Juniata Valley play-in game. The game will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the BC gymnasium!

For the third-straight year, the Lady Huskies volleyball team captured the championship of the Greater Johnstown Volleyball Club's Roxbury Park High School Girls' leage. First row, Allyson Przybys, Nicole Woomer, Sunny Settle, Alex Lieb; second row, Cassidy Platt, Rachel Kwisnek, Janelle Gueguen, Coleena Markovich; third row, Sarah Gomish, Dani Link, Abby Kline, and Katie Morris.
Lady Huskies win season opener at Portage, 3-0: 25-17, 25-19, 26-24.
Dani Link had 22 kills; Sunny Settle had 28 assists, and Allyson Przybys had 21 service points.
JV loses: 0-2.
  
Lady Huskies win home opener over Bishop McCort, 3-1: 25-19, 25-16, 18-25, 25-18.
Dani Link had 28 kills; Sunny Settle had 35 assists, and Settle had 11 service points.
JV Won: 2-1.

Lady Huskies defeat Johnstown: 25-10, 25-14, 25-14 to improve to 3-0. Dani Link has 21 kills while Sunny Settle adds 26 assists and 18 service points. JV wins, 2-1. JV record: 2-1.
  
Lady Huskies sweep Richland: 25-13, 25-20, 25-21 to improve to 4-0. Dani Link had 21 kills, Sunny Settle had 27 assists, and Rachel Kwisnek had 17 digs. JV wins 2-1. JV record is 3-1.
  
Bishop Carroll sweeps Somerset: 25-22, 25-22, 25-23 to improve to 5-0. Dani Link had 21 kills and 18 service points while Sunny Settle added 31 assists.
  
Lady Huskies defeat Forest Hills: 25-20, 25-12, 25-9 to improve to 6-0. Sarah Gomish had 23 kills and 21 service points, Sunny Settle had 31 assists.

Lady Huskies sweep Lady Devils from Central Cambria: 27-25, 25-17, 25-15. Sunny Settle earns 1,000th career assist and has 29 total assists for the evening. Dani Link adds 21 kills; Sarah Gomish adds 16 kills, and Janelle Gueguen has 13 service points to make BC's record 9-1.
